After the attacks by the US and Israel, it was observed that the oil leaking from the Shehran oil depot in the northwest region of Tehran caught fire along the highway.

On social media, images were shared showing fuel leaking from the Shehran oil depot in Tehran igniting along the road. It was observed that the flames rising on Kulsar Street in the Jannat Abad neighborhood in the northwestern part of the city negatively affected traffic.

An unnamed official from the Ministry of Oil, speaking to the Fars News Agency, confirmed that 3 oil depots in Tehran and Karaj were targeted in the attacks.

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced that the stock in the oil depots hit in Tehran and Alborz province during the US-Israel attacks had been reduced to a minimum level in advance and that fuel supply was being secured from other sources.
