KILLED HIS BROTHER IN AN INHERITANCE DISPUTE According to the information received, Muhammet Zeytin (49) arrived in front of his brother Hızır Zeytin's (45) house, with whom he had a feud over an inheritance dispute, early in the morning yesterday. The elder brother fired three shots with a shotgun at his brother, who was getting into his car to go to work. Hızır Zeytin, who was hit by pellets in various parts of his body, died at the scene. The murder suspect fled the area on foot.
Muhammet Zeytin Teams from the Yalova Gendarmerie Command Crime Scene Investigation and the prosecutor conducted an examination at the crime scene. After the investigations, Hızır Zeytin's lifeless body was taken to Yalova Training and Research Hospital for autopsy.
Hızır Zeytin CAUGHT 16 HOURS LATER After the incident, the gendarmerie teams, who pursued the murder suspect who fled to the wooded area, located the suspect using a thermal camera drone. An operation was carried out at the identified location by JASAT intelligence, 4 public order teams, and 2 public order commando teams. The suspect, surrounded by the teams, was caught after a 16-hour search. In his first statement, the detained suspect confessed that he was owed money by his brother due to the inheritance and that this was the reason he committed the murder. After his procedures at the gendarmerie, the suspect was referred to the courthouse.
Meanwhile, Hızır Zeytin, who was killed by his elder brother, was buried in the village of Esadiye.
