The Guardian, a British publication, has announced the best football players of the year in world football. Our national star Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who plays for Inter, is the only Turkish player on the list of 100 footballers, securing the 32nd position.
As we approach the final days of 2024, the best football players of the year have been announced in world football. In the list published by The Guardian, featuring 100 stars that marked this year, there is only one Turkish football player.
THE ONLY TURK IN THE LIST: HAKAN ÇALHANOĞLU
Rodri, who won the Premier League championship with Manchester City last season and the European Championship with the Spanish National Team, took the first place. Rodri also won the Ballon d'Or award this year. In the list, which includes 4 players from Real Madrid in the top 10, Galatasaray's striker from the Süper Lig, Victor Osimhen, is in 74th place, while our national team's captain Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who plays for Inter, is in 32nd place.
