D.T., an 11-year-old disabled child who passed away in the Mesudiye district of Ordu, was laid to rest in a funeral ceremony. D.T. was hospitalized due to a blockage in her trachea caused by candy she had eaten and had died in Samsun. The absence of any family members at the little girl's funeral broke hearts.
In the Mesudiye district of Ordu, the 11-year-old disabled and orphaned girl who passed away was bid farewell to her final journey in a ceremony held in her honor.
D.T., an 11-year-old girl living in a care center in the district, was found to have a mental disability. A while ago, a piece of candy she had eaten got stuck in her windpipe. Following this, D.T. was first transferred to Mesudiye State Hospital, and then to hospitals in Ordu and Samsun. D.T., who was declared brain dead three days ago, passed away last night at the hospital in Samsun where she was receiving treatment.
After the death, officials who could not reach D.T.'s family decided to bury her in the Mesudiye district. A funeral ceremony was held today for D.T. in the Central Neighborhood of Mesudiye district. After the funeral prayer, D.T. was laid to rest in the same neighborhood.
The funeral ceremony was attended by Mesudiye District Governor Gökhan Hülakü, Mayor Cengiz Koçyiğit, district protocol, and citizens of the district. - ORDU
