The Ministry of National Defense announced the paid military service fee. In a statement from the Ministry, it was said, "The paid military service amount has become 472,653 lira and 60 kuruş for the second half of 2026."
The Ministry of National Defense held its weekly press briefing. During the meeting, a statement was made regarding the paid military service fee, which was redetermined following the announcement of inflation figures.
INCREASED BY THE RATE OF CIVIL SERVANT RAISE
The civil servant raise rate, calculated based on six-month inflation, was announced as 13.52 percent on July 3. The paid military service fee increased by the same rate as the raise in civil servant salaries.
HERE IS THE NEW PAID MILITARY SERVICE FEE
The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that the paid military service fee will be applied as 472,653 lira 60 kuruş for the second six months of 2026 (July 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026).
The fee was 416,361 lira 30 kuruş in the first six months of 2026.
