A group of citizens who entered the sea to collect mussels encountered a corpse.

Citizens diving to collect mussels in Üsküdar found the lifeless body of H.H.Ç. at the bottom of the sea. Upon notification, coast guard, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The body, retrieved from the sea, was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue.

In the incident that occurred around 10:30 AM today at Kuleli Beach in Üsküdar, Istanbul, according to reports, citizens diving to collect mussels saw a motionless person lying at the bottom of the sea. The citizens immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

LIFELESS BODY BROUGHT TO SHORE

Upon the report, coast guard, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initiating operations in the area, diving teams brought the motionless person to shore. In the initial examination by medical teams, it was determined that the deceased individual was 31-year-old H.H.C.

CAUSE OF DEATH TO BE DETERMINED BY AUTOPSY

The body of H.H.C. was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
