The Central Bank President Fatih Karahan's mother, Opr. Dr. Hatice Karahan, has passed away. The news of Hatice Karahan's death was announced through a statement made on Karahan's social media account.

The statement indicated that Karahan's funeral will be held on Saturday, December 13 (tomorrow) at Fatih Mosque, and he will be buried in the family cemetery in Karahallı district of his hometown Uşak on Sunday, December 14.
