Taşkıran, who stated that he has been in prison since 2015, said that Yahya Karataş, who has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media, claimed to be famous by taking his place in the videos of his Hajj visits. Taşkıran, who learned that another person was impersonating him after various social media and media outlets published news about his Hajj visits, told İhlas News Agency the truth and said, "I am the real robber Hüseyin, ask my uncle."

Hüseyin Taşkıran, who learned about the person who made money by impersonating him while he was in prison, said, "Being famous is a good thing. I want to address my fans from here. There is a guy named Yahya Karataş. He is using me to gain popularity. He went to Hajj and shared videos saying 'I fulfilled my Hajj dream' by combining my photos with his own photos. He is making money falsely, he is a fraud. He is making money using my name. He took my place while I was in prison. He is deceiving people. I want to tell my fans not to believe this fraud. I also want to address the person who introduces himself as 'Yaso.' I will file a lawsuit for compensation, both financially and morally," he said.

Taşkıran, who is eagerly waiting to complete his sentence at the Niğde Penitentiary, said, "I am on a leave for 11 days. When my sentence is completely over and I am released, I will make new sketches. I want to address my fans and ask them to follow me. If Allah permits and I am released, I will truly fulfill my Hajj dream," he said.
