As part of the investigation launched regarding the controversial photo with a baby on social media, it has been decided to take a statement from Selin Ciğerci's ex-husband Gökhan Çıra.
The statement of former football player Gökhan Çıra will be taken by the prosecutor's office due to the social media post he made with a 2-year-old child.
After the photo of the child named S.S.Ç shared on social media received backlash, the Ministry of Family and Social Services applied to the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to initiate an investigation and requested that the child be temporarily placed in a state dormitory.
GÖKHAN ÇIRA'S STATEMENT WILL BE TAKEN
An investigation was initiated by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in accordance with this request. As part of the investigation, it was decided to take the statement of Gökhan Çıra for the crime of "violation of obligations arising from family law".
In the investigation, the report on the victim child S.S.Ç stated that the care should continue to be provided by the caregivers at home. It was also stated that a counseling measure will be requested from the juvenile court in accordance with the situation and development of the victim child, and that a request for Gökhan Çıra's temporary removal will be made to the family court.
