The internal appointments made every year at the Istanbul Police Department have been announced. In the appointments, 13 branch and district police chiefs were assigned as deputy provincial police chiefs, while changes were made in 19 branch directorates and 20 district police directorates. 13 SECOND CLASS POLICE CHIEFS APPOINTED AS DEPUTY PROVINCIAL POLICE CHIEFSIn this context, 13 second-class police chiefs, including Beşiktaş District Police Chief Mehmet Baykara, Kağıthane District Police Chief Mesut Aslan, and Fatih District Police Chief Cemal Ünlü, were appointed as deputy provincial police chiefs. Hakan Öztürk was appointed to the Public Order Branch Directorate, Kubilay Akbaş to the Counter-Terrorism Branch Directorate, İdris Kaya to the Organized Crime Branch Directorate, Hakan Dulkadir to the Financial Crimes Branch Directorate, Mustafa Aktan to the Smuggling Branch Directorate, Halil İbrahim Başlı to the Preventive Services Branch Directorate, and Ahmet Lütfü Çırakoğlu to the Sports Security Branch Directorate. In addition to these names, 12 third and fourth-class police chiefs were also assigned to various branches. APPOINTMENT TO 20 DISTRICT POLICE DIRECTORATESErdem Torlak was appointed to the Fatih District Police Directorate, Şinasi Yüzbaşıoğlu to the Beşiktaş District Police Directorate, Serkan Gömce to the Şişli District Police Directorate, Abdurrahman Soğuksu to the Beyoğlu District Police Directorate, Uğur Kurak to the Beykoz District Police Directorate, Burak Gürakan to the Kadıköy District Police Directorate, Ömer Faruk Günay to the Büyükçekmece District Police Directorate, and Hüseyin Oğuz Namlı to the Bakırköy District Police Directorate. In addition to these names, 12 second and third-class police chiefs were assigned to different districts.
