In Sultanbeyli, the municipal police teams removed products with one day left until their expiration date and packaged balls posing a drowning risk for children from the shelves during their inspections of markets and canteens.

The Sultanbeyli Municipality's inspection teams have increased their inspections aimed at protecting public health in the district. During a control at a chain supermarket, the teams noticed a product that was one day away from its expiration date. The municipal officers stated that the product should not be on the shelves and requested its removal.

"THESE SHOULD NOT BE SOLD"

The teams examining the small balls sold in packages on the supermarket shelves indicated that the product poses a choking hazard for children. The municipal officers stated, "These can get stuck in the throat, they should not be sold," demanding the immediate removal of the risky product from the shelves.

INSPECTIONS CONTINUE UNINTERRUPTED

It has been reported that the inspections conducted by the Sultanbeyli Municipality in supermarkets, bakeries, and school canteens throughout the district will continue uninterrupted to ensure public health and safety. Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş, who shared images of the inspection on his social media account, noted, "The necessary actions have been taken."
