THE SALARY INCREASE RATE FOR CIVIL SERVANTS AND RETIRED CIVIL SERVANTS HAS BEEN FINALIZED

With the inflation data for December announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the salary increase rate that civil servants and retired civil servants will receive in the first half of 2026 has become clear. The 11% increase from the collective agreement was added to the 6-month inflation difference, resulting in a total increase rate of 18.60%. Additionally, a fixed increase of 1,000 TL was also added.

With the increases made;

• The lowest civil servant salary has risen from 52,617 TL to 60,896 TL.
• The lowest retired civil servant salary has increased to 27,889 TL.

WHEN WILL THE INCREASED SALARIES BE DEPOSITED?

Civil servants will see their increased salaries, including the fixed increase of 1,000 TL, in their accounts on January 15. Retired civil servants received their salaries at the old rate at the beginning of the month. The difference payments are expected to be deposited into accounts within January according to the schedule to be announced by the government.
