The report cards of siblings Ada and Mert, who were killed by their father in Adana, were left on their desks along with flowers. It was learned that many parents did not send their children to school so as not to be affected by the incident.
In Adana, it is claimed that; after a dispute that arose for an unknown reason between G.A. and Sergen A. (34), the woman left the house. The husband, angered by his wife's failure to return home, shot their children Ada (8) and Mert (6) with a gun before turning the gun on himself.

Upon receiving reports of gunfire, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The medical teams that arrived at the scene determined that the father and the children had lost their lives. G.A. and family relatives also came to the scene after receiving the tragic news. Relatives who arrived at the scene set fire to Sergen A.'s car. After investigations in the area, the bodies of the father and children were taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy.
