It was stated that the banknote, officially named “1st Emission 5 Turkish Lira,” is among the first emission coins of the Republic. It was reported that the banknote, which entered circulation in 1927, has been known by this name for years due to the gray wolf figure on it.

It was stated that the price of the banknote, considered quite valuable in the collection world, varies depending on its serial number, condition, signature group, and rarity.
