The decision to shoot the sequel of the highly acclaimed film was made, but an agreement could not be reached with the lead actor Mustafa Üstündağ.

According to journalist Birsen Altuntaş, it was decided to shoot the sequel of the film starring Mustafa Üstündağ and Şefik Onatoğlu. Talks were held with Mustafa Üstündağ, the lead actor of the film "Muro" directed by Zübeyr Şaşmaz, to shoot the film after 6 years. However, when an agreement could not be reached with the famous actor regarding the budget, the film project was shelved.
The film Muro, which met with the audience on December 5, 2008, stayed in theaters for 19 weeks and reached 2,315,902 viewers. The film made a revenue of 18,073,564 TL.
