The initiative of the shopkeeper, who supported women with the sign "If you don't feel safe, this door is always open for you," gradually turned into a safe haven in times of need.
Savaş Kahraman, who opened a cafe about a year ago in Bağbaşı District of Denizli's Pamukkale district, wrote a meaningful message in front of his workplace to draw attention to the increasing violence against women and femicides in recent years.

IT BECAME A HAVEN FOR WOMEN IN NEED
Kahraman, expressing that the message received a response in a short time, said that women in need of help occasionally come to his business. Kahraman noted that they first help women who come to the business to calm down, and they try to make them feel safe by offering treats.
"OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN TO WOMEN"
Emphasizing that social awareness against violence against women should be increased, Kahraman said, "We undertook such an initiative because of the increasing femicides and violent incidents every day. Unfortunately, violence against women continues today. We wrote this text in front of our business to draw attention to this. With all our sincerity, we always await women in need of help."
Kahraman, stating that he has been running his business for about a year, said that some women who saw the writing came to the workplace for help and that they encountered this situation a few times.
"WE WANT VIOLENCE TO END"
Kahraman, expressing his wish for violence against women to end, stated that his biggest wish for the new year is for femicides and violent incidents to cease. Citizens in the vicinity also appreciated Kahraman's sensitive behavior.
