The moments when Osman Aslan, known as 'Yılancı Osman' (Snake Charmer Osman), was bitten by the snake he was performing with at Adana Bus Station were recorded on a mobile phone camera.
Osman Aslan, who has been making a living by selling raw meatballs at Adana Bus Station for many years, amazes people with his love for snakes. Aslan, who feeds the snakes known as 'non-venomous black snakes' among the public and has been bitten by snakes several times, never leaves the snakes for a moment and feeds them by giving them milk with his hands.
Osman Aslan, who is known as 'Snake Man Osman', said, "I have a love and sympathy for snakes. I love snakes very much. I sleep and wake up with snakes. I have never been harmed even a bit. Snake handling has been in our family since my childhood. People have fun playing okey or setting up tables in the coffeehouse. I get in my car, go to the countryside and look for snakes. That's my job. I kiss them, love them, release them and let them go to the mountains. I even feed snakes in my lap. I give them liver, frogs and milk."
Hikmet Toprak, who works as a tradesman at Adana Bus Station, stated that 'Snake Man Osman' is a well-known figure and said, "Our brother has had a love for snakes since his childhood. He does not harm animals. He feeds them with his own hands here. He collects frogs for them at night. He feeds them liver that he buys from butchers. He gives milk to animals in bowls. He has a great love for animals. He does not torture animals. He has an extreme love for animals and snakes. People are very surprised when they see Osman brother with snakes. He puts them in his lap and feeds them with his hands."
