A severe southwesterly wind claimed a life in Bursa. Due to the strong winds that intensified in the Kestel district, a wall collapsed, and a 22-year-old foreign national lost his life under the rubble. Relatives of the young man, who received the tragic news, suffered a nervous breakdown at the scene.
The severe lodos (a strong wind) affecting the Kestel district of Bursa led to an incident resulting in loss of life. A wall located on Namık Kemal Street in the Vanimehmet neighborhood collapsed due to the strong winds.
22-YEAR-OLD YOUNG MAN LOST HIS LIFE
A.N., a 22-year-old foreign national trapped under the collapsed wall, died at the scene. Health teams confirmed that the young man had lost his life during their examination.
Upon notification from nearby citizens, police, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the area. While police teams took security measures around the area, an investigation was conducted at the scene.

Relatives of the young man, upon receiving the tragic news, experienced a nervous breakdown at the scene, and health teams intervened.

Following the incident, Kestel District Governor Recep Öztürk arrived at the scene to conduct investigations.
