MUSICAL RETURNING TO THE STAGE AFTER YEARS
The classic musical "7 Husbands of Hürmüz," written by Sadık Şendil and directed by Müjdat Gezen, has reunited with the audience after a long hiatus. The new cast includes Çağla Şıkel, Sarp Bozkurt, Müjdat Gezen, and Şeyla Halis, while the master artist Mine Koşan also appeared on stage as a special guest.
TENSION IN THE DRESSING ROOM: CLAIM OF 'LATE ON STAGE'
After the musical's curtain opened, it was claimed that there was tension in the dressing room. It was suggested that the flow on stage was disrupted because Mine Koşan entered the kaside section late despite being signaled. It was alleged that Çağla Şıkel expressed her dissatisfaction by saying, "She didn't go on stage on time." Complaints were also made to the production team regarding Koşan's excessive smoking in the dressing room. Following these developments, it was claimed that the producers called the artist and terminated her role in the project.
MINE KOŞAN: "I WAS REMOVED WITHOUT ANY JUSTIFICATION"
After the allegations surfaced, Mine Koşan made a statement. The master artist stated that she was removed from the musical over the phone without any justification and expressed that she does not accept what happened. In a statement prepared by her lawyer Halil Çelik and shared on her social media account, she said: "Public announcement, artist Mine Koşan has been removed from the '7 Husbands of Hürmüz' musical, which she regularly participated in between October 22 and December 18, without any justification. She has performed in all shows and fulfilled her duties flawlessly. Legal proceedings have been initiated to rectify the injustice experienced."
