According to the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), delegates unanimously approved Kim Jong Un's re-election as party leader on the fourth day of the congress held on Sunday.

The report emphasized that Kim's efforts to enhance the country's nuclear capabilities and strengthen its regional position were decisive in this decision. It was noted that during the congress, military and political strategies, as well as the country's economic development goals, were discussed under new 5-year plans.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un for his re-election.
