After the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, Israel, which continues its attacks on Syria, announced that it has captured the Mantara Dam, located in the Quneitra region and of strategic importance as it is the largest dam in the country.

Israel has continued its attacks in Syria since December 8, when the Bashar al-Assad regime was overthrown.

Most recently, the Israeli army took control of the Mantar Dam, which is the largest water source in Syria and located in the rural area of Quneitra province. Local media reports indicate that Israeli soldiers have settled around the Mantar Dam and surrounded the area. Al Arabiya also confirmed that the strategically important dam has been fully seized by Israeli forces.

FIRE WAS OPENED ON CIVILIAN POPULATION

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers intervened in a protest organized by the civilian population against the occupation in the village of Suwaisa, which is also in Quneitra province. As a result of gunfire opened on the crowd, 3 civilians were injured.
