The Sultans of the Net, continuing their confident march in the European Championship, put on a spectacular show against Azerbaijan. The National Women's Volleyball Team, not conceding a set to their opponent, won the match 3-0 and secured their ticket to the quarter-finals.
The National Women's Volleyball Team advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating Azerbaijan 3-0 in the round of 16 of the CEV Trendyol 2026 Women's European Volleyball Championship. The nationals did not give their opponent a chance to win a set with their superior performance throughout the match.
NO SET GIVEN TO AZERBAIJAN
The National Women's Volleyball Team, competing in the Trendyol CEV Women's European Volleyball Championship, took to the court against Azerbaijan in the round of 16.
Starting the match effectively, the Sultans of the Net maintained control of the game from start to finish. Showing a superior performance in both attack and defense, the nationals defeated Azerbaijan 3-0 and advanced to the quarter-finals.
GERMANY TO FACE IN QUARTER-FINALS
With this victory, Germany became the opponent of the National Women's Volleyball Team, which continues its journey in the tournament, in the quarter-finals.
The Sultans of the Net will face Germany in the quarter-final match on Thursday, September 3.
