The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team lost 3-2 to the USA in the 2026 Volleyball Nations League. In their next match in the Japan leg, the national team will face host Japan tomorrow.
The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team lost 3-2 to the USA in a match played in Osaka, Japan, during the third week of the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL). With this result, our national team's 6-match unbeaten streak came to an end.
THE MATCH WAS BREATHTAKING
In the closely contested match, the Sultans of the Net won the first set 25-22, while the USA took the second set 25-23, making it 1-1. Turkey won the thrilling third set 29-27, regaining the lead. The USA won the fourth set 25-21, taking the match to a deciding set. In the match played at Asue Arena, lasting 135 minutes, the USA National Team won the deciding set 15-8.
THE SULTANS OF THE NET WILL PLAY THEIR LAST MATCH AGAINST THAILAND
The Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team will face host Japan in their third match of the VNL Japan stage tomorrow at 1:20 PM local time. The Nationals will play their last match of the VNL third week program against Thailand on Sunday, July 12, at 9:30 AM.
