Istanbul police arrested a woman in Kartal who had a prison sentence of 14 years and 4 months for a murder committed in 2004.
The Istanbul police captured a fugitive woman who was wanted for 'intentional murder' due to a murder committed in 2004 and had a prison sentence of 14 years and 4 months. It was learned that the woman had also been wanted by Interpol since 2011.
In the case related to the murder committed in Istanbul in 2004, the trace of Zeynep K., who has a confirmed prison sentence of 14 years and 4 months for 'intentional murder', was found.
CAPTURED AFTER 22 YEARS
Zeynep K., who had a restriction record from the Ministry of Justice dated May 10, 2016, and 99-EGM H-INTERPOL, had her hiding address identified. An operation was carried out at the address where the person wanted since 2011 was hiding in Kartal.
Zeynep K. was captured and taken into custody. The fugitive woman, brought to the Wanted Persons Bureau of the Public Order Branch Directorate, was referred to judicial authorities after her procedures.
