İYİ Party Mersin Deputy Burhanettin Kocamaz lost approximately 70 million lira to scammers who introduced themselves over the phone as the Mersin Counter-Terrorism Branch Manager. Kocamaz, who handed over his money and gold under the pretext of a FETÖ investigation, filed a complaint. Acting on the complaint, police teams caught the suspects in Istanbul with the money and gold and arrested them.
