In the work carried out under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Organized Crimes Investigation Bureau, an operation was conducted against new-generation organized crime organizations.
THEY SHOT AND SET FIRE TO WORKPLACES
Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that individuals acting on behalf of the criminal organization carried out actions targeting workplaces in different districts of Istanbul. Examinations revealed that the organization set fire to the beauty center named 'Melike Beauty' in Bayrampaşa on August 18, 2026, set fire to the workplace named '7-24 Galeri' in Pendik on August 19, and carried out an armed attack on the workplace named 'Andaç Emlak' in Bayrampaşa on August 20.
SUSPECTS CAUGHT, LARGE AMOUNT OF AMMUNITION SEIZED
Ozan Allahkulu, determined to have carried out the aforementioned actions, was caught and detained in the operation. During the examination of the suspect's mobile phone, photographs of Allahkulu were found taken with an AK-47 brand long-barreled firearm in an abandoned building in the Fatih district. Following this, teams carried out an operation at the address where the photographs were taken.
In the operation, a suspect named Mustafa Çiçek, who was determined to be hiding in the abandoned building, was caught. During searches conducted in the building, one AK-47 brand long-barreled fully automatic firearm, one Uzi brand automatic pistol, and a large number of cartridges and ammunition belonging to these weapons were seized.
