As part of the ceasefire and integration agreement reached between the Syrian government and the terrorist organization YPG/SDG, internal security units affiliated with the Syrian Ministry of Interior have begun to deploy to the city of Ayn al-Arab following Hasakeh.
After the ceasefire and integration agreement reached between the government and the terrorist organization YPG/SDG on January 30, the Syrian army continues to deploy to the cities occupied by YPG under the agreement.
SYRIAN ARMY HAS STARTED DEPLOYING TO AYN EL-ARAB
In a statement made by the Syrian Ministry of Interior, it was reported that security units have also started to deploy in the rural area of Ayn el-Arab (Kobani) located in the northern countryside of Aleppo, following Hasakeh.
"A CONTINUATION OF THE SUCCESSFULLY IMPLEMENTED SECURITY PLAN"
The ministry stated that the internal security forces affiliated with the Ministry of Interior have begun to enter the city and continue field deployment at designated strategic points, emphasizing that this step is a continuation of the security plan that was successfully implemented in parts of Hasakeh and Deir ez-Zor earlier.
The ministry stated, "The units affiliated with our ministry are on duty to ensure public order in the rural area of Ayn el-Arab, to restore the functioning of state institutions, and to protect the safety of civilians," noting that the Syrian government aims to gradually establish state control in all regions of the north and east of the country within the framework of the integration and security coordination reached with the SDG.
