The Turkish Football Federation's National Teams Responsible Ceyhun Kazancı made a statement regarding the Roma claims about head coach Vincenzo Montella.

"NO OFFICIAL OFFER HAS COME"

In response to the question "What do you say about Roma's interest in Vincenzo Montella?" on TRT Spor, Ceyhun Kazancı said, "It's quite natural. Such a club would want its own legend and shining coach. No official offer has come to us; even if it did, we are satisfied with our coach. Our coach is also satisfied with us. I don't think our coach has such a request," he said.

"THE ONLY THING WE TALKED ABOUT IS THE WORLD CUP"

Continuing his statements, Ceyhun Kazancı said, "No one should be confused. I read the name Ranieri. Both sides are satisfied with each other. Our only goal is to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The intention is more important than the contract. Therefore, let's not focus on the information coming from outside. Our president has also talked to me. The only thing we talked about is the World Cup. Roma is not our concern," he expressed.
