The advertisement published under the title "The Silent Witness of the Past" has sparked discussions on social media, while the lack of official information regarding the vehicle's history and the timing of the advertisement's release before the relevant report in the Turkish Grand National Assembly drew attention.
The "White Toros," associated with unsolved murders particularly in Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia during the 1990s, has come back into the spotlight. A white Renault 12 Toros model vehicle, which was linked to security forces at that time and etched in the public's memory, has been put up for sale on a classifieds website.

In the ad details, it was noted that the vehicle is a 1993 model and is offered for sale at a price of 1 million 58 thousand TL. The title of the ad, which states that the license plate is "34 JTM 82," includes the phrase "A silent witness of the past."
