Twelve years ago, Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher fell into a coma due to a skiing accident. He moved and gave hope to his fans by signing a racing helmet displayed during the Bahrain Grand Prix. This gesture from the legendary driver was seen as a positive sign regarding his health and was met with excitement by his friends.
After suffering a severe brain injury in a skiing accident in 2013, Michael Schumacher, whose treatment has been conducted with great secrecy since that day, has come back into the spotlight after a long time.

During the Bahrain Grand Prix, a racing helmet displayed the signatures of all living Formula 1 champions. One of these signatures belonged to Michael Schumacher.
According to a report in The Mirror, the legendary driver's signature contribution was made for a campaign by Sir Jackie Stewart to raise awareness about Alzheimer's and dementia. In this signature, where Schumacher only wrote his initials, his wife Corrina Schumacher also assisted.

Schumacher's former teammate Johnny Herbert said that this development could be a positive sign regarding Schumacher's health condition. Herbert stated, "It's great news that he signed the helmet. This is one of the most emotional moments we've seen in years. It has been a long and difficult process for his family. Maybe we can see him again during a Formula 1 weekend. This would be an unforgettable moment not just for those on the track but for the whole world." The 85-year-old three-time world champion Sir Jackie Stewart emphasized the importance of the signature: "It's amazing that Michael has supported this charity campaign we started against a disease with no treatment. Thanks to his wife, we were able to achieve this, and the signatures of all champions in life have been completed," he said.
