The discussions continue following the remarks of the former leader of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who stated, "I will not hand over the party to a trustee." Kılıçdaroğlu, who emphasized that it was not right for his meeting to be leaked to the press, said, "If I don't accept it, a trustee will come; the DNA of the CHP is being tampered with, and I cannot allow that."

While the risk of "absolute nullity" regarding the CHP's congress process continues to be discussed, former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's statements have made headlines. Speaking to TGRT News Ankara Representative Fatih Atik, Kılıçdaroğlu made significant evaluations regarding the possible process if a trustee is appointed to the party.

KILIÇDAROĞLU'S WORDS WERE HIGHLY DEBATED

CHP Party Council Member Engin Özkoç, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, and Mersin Metropolitan Mayor Vahap Seçer recently visited Kılıçdaroğlu. Following this meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu's statement, "I will not hand over the party to a trustee," ignited a new debate within the party.

"I WILL NOT LEAVE THE PARTY TO A TRUSTEE"

Kılıçdaroğlu, who stated that he found the leak of the meeting to the public inappropriate, argued that the information conveyed during the meeting was largely incorrect, saying, "They did not ask for my permission." He added, "There is no court decision yet. Even if one comes out, I will not leave the party to a trustee. The comments made are a trap set for both the CHP and myself."

"IF A TRUSTEE COMES, THE CONGRESS DATE BECOMES UNCERTAIN"

Regarding a possible court decision, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "It is meaningless to say that if I do not accept the position, the decision becomes void. Would it be better if a trustee comes? Even the date of the congress becomes uncertain. Who will manage the party, and how? The CHP cannot be handed over to a trustee," he stated.

Kılıçdaroğlu also emphasized that the DNA of the CHP is being tampered with, saying, "I will not allow this, we cannot allow it."

WHAT HAPPENED?

The claim that a decision of "absolute nullity," meaning "complete invalidity," could be made in the CHP's congress case to be seen on June 30 had created movement in party circles. According to the claim, it was suggested that Kılıçdaroğlu was open to returning to the party's leadership in light of this possibility. It was also noted that Mansur Yavaş, Vahap Seçer, and Engin Özkoç had sought support from Kılıçdaroğlu in this context.

According to İsmail Saymaz's report, Kılıçdaroğlu responded, "If I do not accept, a trustee will come, should I leave it to a trustee?" This statement was not denied by the three individuals, while Vahap Seçer's statement confirmed the claims. Seçer said, "Getting a different answer would please Mr. İmamoğlu, but we will clarify our stance according to developments."
