Two cars hit stray cows that entered the tunnel on the Şile-Ağva road. In the accident, 10 cows were killed, while a passenger in one of the vehicles was injured. Emergency teams dispatched to the scene took the injured person to the hospital, and the traffic congestion in the tunnel returned to normal after the vehicles and animals were removed.
Stray cows entering a tunnel in Istanbul's Şile district caused a traffic accident. 10 cows were killed in the accident that occurred in the tunnel on the Şile-Ağva road.
According to the information obtained, two moving cars hit the stray cows that had entered the tunnel. Due to the impact of the collision, the animals were thrown onto the road, and the vehicles were also damaged.
ONE PERSON INJURED
A passenger in one of the cars was injured in the accident. Upon notice, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
The injured person was taken to the hospital for treatment after the first intervention by the medical teams.
TRAFFIC RETURNED TO NORMAL
Due to the accident, traffic congestion occurred in the tunnel. After the dead animals and the vehicles involved in the accident were removed, transportation returned to normal.
