The presidential decree regarding the extension of the Turkish Armed Forces naval elements' mission in the Gulf of Aden, Somali territorial waters and open seas, the Arabian Sea, and adjacent areas for another year has been voted on and approved by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

A critical vote took place in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. The subject of the vote was the overseas missions of the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) naval elements.

The presidential memorandum regarding the extension of the TSK's mission in the Gulf of Aden, Somali territorial waters and open seas, the Arabian Sea, and adjacent areas for another year was discussed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.

THE MEMORANDUM WAS ACCEPTED

The voted memorandum was accepted. With this decision, Turkish soldiers will serve for another year in the Gulf of Aden and Somali territorial waters.
