A chicken that flew from the 5th floor of a building in the Tarsus district of Mersin fell into the middle of people sitting at a table in front of a shop.

The incident occurred on Öğretmenler Mahallesi 2907 Sokak. According to the information obtained, while citizens sitting in front of a real estate agent's shop on the street were drinking tea and chatting, a chicken suddenly flew from the upper floors of the opposite building and headed towards the table where the group was sitting.

In the incident captured by security camera footage, the chicken was seen flying from the 5th floor and landing on the table, causing citizens around the table to panic and get up from their seats. It was also notable that the citizens, experiencing a brief moment of confusion, then smiled and asked each other what had happened.

In the incident, where no injuries occurred, the chicken's fall and the citizens' reaction caused interesting moments in the area.

Describing the moment of the incident, real estate agent Erkan Çağ stated that while he and his friends were drinking tea and chatting, a chicken flew down on them from above, and said, "Of course we were scared and naturally uneasy. Then we saw it had flown from the roof of the opposite apartment building. Its owner was waving at us, saying, 'Our chicken flew away.'"
