The trial, in which Deniz Bulutsuz and Ozan Güven, whose relationship ended with allegations of violence, filed mutual complaints against each other, continued at Istanbul 58th Criminal Court. The court decided to examine the records regarding whether Deniz Bulutsuz had received treatment for anxiety disorder or any other psychological condition before June 13, 2020, and postponed the hearing to October 4, 2024.

The trial in which Deniz Bulutsuz and Ozan Güven, whose relationship ended with allegations of violence, filed mutual complaints against each other, continued at Istanbul 58th Criminal Court of First Instance. Actor Ozan Güven is being tried for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Deniz Bulutsuz on June 13, 2020, with a possible sentence of up to 13 years and 6 months, while Deniz Bulutsuz is being tried for the charge of "simple injury" with a possible sentence of 4 months to 1 year. The lawyers of both parties were present at the trial.

The court decided to examine the records regarding whether Deniz Bulutsuz received psychological treatment. In the interim decision, the court ordered letters to be sent to the Social Security Institution and the Ministry of Health to examine the records of Deniz Bulutsuz regarding whether she received treatment for anxiety disorder or any other psychological condition before June 13, 2020. The trial was postponed to October 4, 2024.

INDICTMENT

The indictment stated that on the night of June 13, 2020, the couple, who were at Ozan Güven's house, had an argument that escalated again at their friends' house, and Güven allegedly assaulted Deniz Bulutsuz by hitting her with a lamp and his hands. The lamp that allegedly caused injury to Deniz Bulutsuz's chin was considered as a weapon. During the ongoing trial at Istanbul 58th Criminal Court of First Instance, the court had requested a definitive report from the Forensic Medicine Institute regarding the injuries on Deniz Bulutsuz's body. In the initial report prepared by the 2nd Specialization Board of the Forensic Medicine Institute, it was stated that the injury on Deniz Bulutsuz did not pose a life-threatening condition, its effect on the person was not of a minor nature that could be resolved with simple medical intervention, no bone fractures were identified, there were no permanent scars on her face, and no anatomical deficiency or functional disorder that could cause weakening or loss of function of any organs was detected.
