The Turkey Press Federation has announced the winners of the 11th Anatolian Media Awards. The presentation of the awards is expected to be made by President Erdoğan. Haberler.com has been deemed worthy of the "News Site of the Year" award.
The winners of the Anadolu Media Awards, traditionally presented every year by the Turkish Press Federation, were announced at a press conference. This year, the 11th edition of the awards is expected to be presented by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
According to a statement made by the Turkish Press Federation, the names and organizations deemed worthy of the award in local and national media were determined as a result of evaluations made by a jury composed of journalist writers.
AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED
Sinan Burhan, the President of the Turkish Press Federation, announced the names of the award winners.
Speaking at the press conference, President Burhan stated, "This year we are organizing the 11th Anadolu Media Awards. Previously, we worked as the Anadolu Broadcasters Association, then we established the Anadolu Press Federation. Finally, with the approval of our esteemed President and the Ministry of Interior, we became the Turkish Press Federation by adopting the name 'Turkey'."

Providing information about this year's award process, Burhan emphasized that names and organizations with significant contributions to the media sector were meticulously selected. Burhan stated, "We had jury members in this organization. It was not us who determined the award winners, but our jury." He noted that the jury members were also experienced and respected figures in their fields, saying, "We worked with a jury composed of professionals such as Mr. Murat Yancı, Nermin Yurteri, Yavuz Donat, Mustafa Çelik, and Hüseyin Likoğlu."

Burhan also touched on the planning of the award ceremony, stating, "If it is meant to be and if our esteemed President also deems it appropriate, we hope to present the awards with the participation of our President. In the last 5 years, our esteemed President attended and honored the award ceremonies we organized. Hopefully, this year will also provide such an opportunity."
Burhan concluded his remarks by stating that the details of the ceremony would be shared with the public in the coming days.
