A woman who introduced herself as a prosecutor while threatening passengers on public transportation in Istanbul was taken to the police station in handcuffs.
The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation ex officio for the crimes of 'threat' and 'inciting or degrading the public to hatred and enmity' after it was determined that a woman claiming to be a Public Prosecutor in a video published on social media made statements to one of the passengers, saying, 'I will kill you, bigot, let's see how you survive in Turkey from now on, the police are under my command.'
Within the scope of the investigation, it was determined that the identified suspect Y.S. had dropped out of the Justice Vocational School and currently has an open and active student registration in the Faculty of Education's 'Medical Documentation and Secretarial' department.
Furthermore, it was found that the suspect Y.S. has a record for the crimes of 'theft from a workplace and institution', 'buying, accepting, or possessing drugs and stimulants for use', 'threat', 'insult', and 'intentional injury' as a 'child in conflict with the law'.
The suspect Y.S. was detained by police teams.
