SUDDEN ATTACK
In an incident that occurred on Atatürk Street, a man named O.K. suddenly attacked his 29-year-old wife N.K., who is allegedly in the process of divorce for an unknown reason, with a knife in front of a workplace. Citizens who witnessed the incident intervened and managed to drive the attacker away while police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
MOMENTS CAPTURED ON CAMERA
The knife attack by O.K. on his wife was recorded by a nearby security camera. The footage shows the man approaching from behind and suddenly attacking N.K. while she was talking to her friends, stabbing her multiple times, and the surrounding citizens quickly intervening to neutralize the attacker with fruit crates.
NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES
While O.K. was taken into custody by the police, N.K., who was injured, was taken to Gümüşhane State Hospital after initial treatment. It was learned that N.K., a mother of two, was transferred to Trabzon for further treatment and that her injuries were not life-threatening.
