Ömriye Duman, 46, who had been missing since yesterday in Menteşe, Muğla, was found dead hanging from a tree. The body of Ömriye Duman (46), who was reported missing, was found hanging from a tree in the Menteşe district of Muğla. While the possibility of Duman having committed suicide is being considered, it was reported that an autopsy would be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Gökkıble area of Karabağlar Plateau. Locals noticed a woman hanging from a tree and reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
TEAMS HAD DIFFICULTY REACHING THE AREA
Teams had difficulty reaching the area due to the road being closed because of the rain. Support was requested from AFAD and municipal teams. After the road was cleared with an excavator, the teams reached the area. In the initial examination by the medical personnel, it was determined that the woman found hanging from the tree had lost her life.
THE POSSIBILITY OF SUICIDE IS BEING CONSIDERED
During the investigation by the police teams, it was determined that the woman was Ömriye Duman, who had not been heard from since yesterday. In the initial examinations, while the possibility of Duman having committed suicide is being considered, her lifeless body was taken to the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
