At a semester-end event held at a school in Ankara, the words of a teacher praising Minister Tekin became a topic of discussion. The teacher said to Minister Tekin, "You follow us and make our hearts race; we feel like we're going crazy at school. You are a celebrity to us. We are really glad you exist."
The Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, attended the end-of-term event held at Şehit Onur Doğan Primary School in Altındağ, Ankara. Meeting with students and teachers, Minister Tekin emphasized that they care about children's development not only academically but also socially while evaluating the education process.
"WE ARE RAISING CHILDREN, NOT ROBOTS"
In his speech, Tekin stated that they focus on children's development through friendship and play, not just academic success, saying, "We want our children to enjoy their childhood and be able to use what they learn in daily life. We are raising children, not robots."
"WE ARE GOING CRAZY"
One of the teachers who spoke at the event drew attention with their remarks. The teacher said, "You follow us and have a heartbeat, while we are going crazy at school," adding, "You are famous to us. We are really grateful that you exist. We appreciate you for helping us make the school enjoyable with such beautiful events and for guiding us with these kinds of plans. When it is said, 'This will be done,' feeling you behind us encourages us. Thank you very much for everything."
