On June 13, Israel carried out extensive attacks targeting not only nuclear facilities in various cities of Iran but also the upper command of the military.

While the Chief of General Staff of Iran, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and several senior commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists, were killed in the attacks, the total civilian casualties were reported as 224.

In the Iranian military's retaliation against Israel with ballistic missiles, it was reported that 24 people were killed and more than 500 were injured. Many countries, including Turkey, condemned Israel.
