The journey of our National Football Team to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which they entered with great hopes, unfortunately ended in disappointment. The poor results obtained by our crescent-starred team, which completely exhausted their hopes of advancing from the group, also negatively affected our position in the international rankings.

LEAVING THE WORLD CUP WITH ZERO POINTS

In their first test of the tournament, Our Boys lost 2-0 to Australia, and then in the critical second group match, they could not avoid a 1-0 defeat against Paraguay. With these two consecutive losses, Turkey's chances of advancing from the group disappeared, and the national team bid an early farewell to the tournament.
