ICBC Turkey Bank, one of the world's largest banking groups, has downsized its branch network in Turkey to increase operational efficiency. The bank closed 5 branches and merged 3 others, reducing the number of operating branches to 11. Last month, the same bank also removed its ATMs.

ICBC Turkey Bank has announced a downsizing of its branch network to increase operational efficiency. According to the statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the bank has ceased operations at 5 branches and merged 3 branches.

OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY IS TARGETED

ICBC Turkey Bank, which drew attention last month by ending ATM usage, has taken another step within the scope of its strategic planning. According to the official statement made by the company to KAP, 5 branches have been completely closed and 3 branches have been merged with other branches in order to simplify operational processes and use resources more efficiently.

The bank's management emphasized that this restructuring move aims to manage the branch network much more effectively.

11 BRANCHES REMAIN IN OPERATION

Following the closure and merger decisions, the total number of branches of ICBC Turkey Bank continuing to serve across Turkey has decreased to 11. The bank's currently open branches are as follows:
