In Adana, one of Turkey's hottest provinces, the hot weather has started to take effect. While vehicle thermometers in the city center showed 41 degrees Celsius, citizens who took advantage of the sunny weather flocked to parks and gardens.

According to data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the air temperature in the city, which is 30 degrees, reached up to 41 degrees on vehicle thermometers. Taking advantage of the hot weather, residents of Adana went to parks and gardens to enjoy the warmth. In the city, which was under the influence of heavy rainfall until last week, temperatures are expected to rise above seasonal norms starting today.

"IT'S VERY HOT"

Citizen Kadir Oygur said, "It's very hot. Does a person sweat while taking a shower? Why is this sun hitting here? I don't understand, this heat is too much."

"IF IT CONTINUES LIKE THIS A BIT MORE, WE WILL START TO SUFFOCATE"

Şervan Ildız said, "This weather is very hot and it's doing us wrong. If it continues like this a bit more, we will start to suffocate. Young people have started swimming in canals. We have started wearing short sleeves, summer came early."

"I WENT FOR A WALK BUT STARTED SWEATING"

Citizen Metin Gelincik, describing the weather as very hot, said, "Temperatures have started to become effective. I went for a walk but started sweating. In 1-2 months, eggs will start frying on the asphalt. May God give patience and endurance to our elderly."
