In the Hafik district of Sivas, the sight of numerous baby frogs on the highway and at a fuel station after a downpour drew attention. The station's owner, Mustafa Mert Esen, stated that he had encountered such a situation for the first time in his life, saying, "Should we call this a divine wisdom or something else? I couldn't tell."
Following the heavy rainfall that affected the Hafik district of Sivas, numerous baby frogs were observed along approximately 2 kilometers of the line between the Çay neighborhood in the district center and the Günyamaç village road.
THEY SURROUNDED THE FUEL STATION
The baby frogs created a density, especially on the Sivas-Erzincan highway and the Hafik-Doğanşar highway. The frogs, also seen at a gas station near the district, attracted the attention of drivers coming to the station.
"SHALL WE CALL IT A WONDER OR SOMETHING ELSE? I COULDN'T DECIDE"
The station owner, Mustafa Mert Esen, stated that he had encountered such a situation for the first time in his life. Noting that it rained about half an hour ago, Esen said, "With the rain, the entire area turned into frogs. Our customer arrived, pulled up to the pump, couldn't even get out of the car. They wandered around during the rain, left after it stopped. I couldn't tell whether this is a wonder or something else. I'm 30 years old, and I'm seeing something like this for the first time in my life."
"I'VE NEVER SEEN NOR HEARD OF IT IN MY LIFE"
Driver Lütfullah Şeker, who came to the station for fuel, said he initially thought the frogs were grasshoppers. Şeker said, "We arrived at the gas station, and there was a swarm of frogs. I've never seen nor heard of such a large group of baby frogs in my life."
