The incident took place in the Firuzağa neighborhood around 04:00 in the early morning. According to the information obtained; 4 suspects named A.D. (15), M.A. (14), A.K. (14), and T.Y.C. (14) suddenly attacked Abdullah A. whom they met on the street. The frenzied group beat the unfortunate man, took his mobile phone and 2,000 liras from his wallet, and fled. The horrifying moments were recorded moment by moment by a nearby citizen.
Security Teams Followed the Trail Step by Step
Upon the report, teams from the B Region Branch Directorate of the Istanbul Security Teams Department sprang into action and identified the perpetrators in a short time by examining camera footage. The 4 children, taken into custody in the organized operation, were handed over to the Children's Bureau of the Beyoglu District Police Department.
THEIR CRIMINAL RECORDS WERE EXTENSIVE
In the detailed examinations of the suspects at the police station, it was understood that despite their young ages, they had extensive criminal records. A.K.'s (14) file, leading with 11 separate criminal records, includes robbery, intentional injury, drug trafficking, drug use, and crimes committed with weapons.
It was determined that among the other suspects, T.Y.C. (14) had 5 records for intentional injury, theft by taking, robbery, and theft from a car; M.A. (14) had 3 records for robbery and motorcycle theft; and A.D. (15) had 2 records, also for robbery.
4 PEOPLE REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE WERE ARRESTED
After their procedures at the Children's Bureau were completed, the 4 suspects were referred to the courthouse under extensive security measures. Brought before the judge, A.D., M.A., A.K., and T.Y.C. were arrested and sent to prison.
