One of the world's most interesting job postings has emerged in the US. The technology company offering the opportunity to earn money by walking robot dogs drew attention with its set hourly wage and working conditions.

THEY WILL PAY 5,000 TL A DAY TO DOG WALKERS

US-based technology startup Dimensional has launched a different hiring process to develop its artificial intelligence systems. The company posted a job listing for people to walk robot dogs on the streets of San Francisco. According to the listing, employees will walk for 4 to 6 hours a day with the robot dogs given to them. In return for this work, employees will be paid $20 per hour. According to the exchange rate calculation used in the source, the hourly wage corresponds to approximately 860 TL. Thus, a person working 6 hours can earn $120 per day, that is, approximately 5,160 TL. The equivalent of four hours of work will be $80, approximately 3,440 TL.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! BEING ABLE TO USE A PHONE IS ENOUGH

One of the most striking details in Dimensional's job listing is that no robotics experience is required from candidates. The company will provide the people it hires with robot dogs, safety instructions, and the walking routes they need to follow. The employees' main task will be to guide robot dogs weighing approximately 15 kilograms along designated routes.

ROBOT DOGS WILL COLLECT DATA STREET BY STREET

Behind walking robot dogs on the streets is artificial intelligence training. While employees accompany the robots, cameras and sensors on the devices will scan the environment and collect data. The collected information will enable the robots to better recognize the conditions they encounter in real urban environments. Thanks to this data, the company aims to improve the robots' ability to perceive their surroundings and move. The long-term goal is for robots to be able to move on their own with less need for human guidance.

THE COMPANY BOUGHT 100 ROBOT DOGS AND 50 HUMANOID ROBOTS

Dimensional's work is not limited to robot dogs to be walked on the streets. It is stated that the company purchased 100 robot dogs and 50 humanoid robots from manufacturers in China, Germany, and the US. The technology startup is working on an open-source operating system that will help robots perform physical tasks.
