A passenger plane that took off with 55 people from Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, made an emergency landing in the sea shortly after; the moments of passenger evacuation were captured on camera.
Terrifying moments were experienced in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia. A Fokker 50 passenger plane belonging to the Somali airline StarSky, which took off with 55 people from Aden Adde Airport, reported a mechanical problem shortly after takeoff.
EMERGENCY LANDING IN THE OCEAN
According to a statement from the African Union Mission in Support of Somalia (AUSSOM), the passenger plane attempting to return to the airport made an emergency landing in the Indian Ocean. It was observed that one of the plane's wings had broken off.
Emergency response teams, including AUSSOM and the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS), were quickly dispatched to the scene.

While the passengers were safely evacuated from the plane, the moments of their evacuation were captured on camera.
