50 ELECTRIC CARS AS GIFTS
The President of Uzbekistan donated 50 Chinese BYD electric cars, each worth approximately 30,000 euros, as a personal reward to the players following their historic success in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
The cars were parked near the stadium field, and they bore the symbolic message from the president: "You are going to the World Cup, take the keys and go home." Uzbekistan had almost guaranteed advancement to the next round by drawing 0-0 with the United Arab Emirates, but the victory against Qatar confirmed their participation in the most important tournament for nations, held for the first time with 48 participants.
