President Erdoğan had a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the conflicts between Israel and Iran. During the conversation, Erdoğan expressed Turkey's readiness to do everything possible to prevent an uncontrolled escalation of tensions.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump. In a statement from the Communications Directorate, it was said, "Our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone conversation with the President of the United States, Donald Trump. The discussion addressed the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global issues."

The statement also noted, "In the conversation, President Erdoğan expressed that Turkey is closely monitoring the tensions between Iran and Israel and sees the initiated nuclear negotiations as the only way to resolve the dispute."



In this context, our President stated that we support the U.S. view that nuclear negotiations should continue for the resolution of the dispute.



President Erdoğan mentioned in the conversation that Turkey is ready to do its utmost to prevent an uncontrolled escalation in tensions.



DIPLOMATIC TRAFFIC HAS ACCELERATED



On the other hand, President Erdoğan held meetings with numerous world leaders today regarding the Israel-Iran conflicts.



In his meeting with Iranian President Pezeshkiyan, President Erdoğan strongly condemned Israel's unlawful attacks on Iran and expressed his condolences to the Iranian people for the loss of lives. Erdoğan also met with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Pakistan.



HELD A SECURITY SUMMIT



President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also held a security meeting at the Presidential Complex. The summit, which addressed the conflicts that began with Israel's attacks on Iran, was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, National Intelligence Organization President İbrahim Kalın, and AK Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik.



During the security meeting, developments regarding Israel's increasingly aggressive actions in the region, diplomatic efforts to end the conflicts, the impacts of the attacks on global and regional security, and the measures to be taken, as well as Turkey's preparations for potential developments, were evaluated.
